A planned departure needs a clear checklist
Notice is available and access, files, and licenses should be handled before the employee’s last day.
Per-employee event
Employee IT Offboarding coordinates authorized account closure, file and email preservation, license recovery, and return instructions with clear written authorization.
Use Employee IT Offboarding when one employee departure requires coordinated access removal, file handling, and device return documentation. It does not include HR administration, legal offboarding, incident response, or managed security services.
Notice is available and access, files, and licenses should be handled before the employee’s last day.
Timing is compressed and an authorized administrator needs coordinated access removal and documentation.
The priority is access cleanup and return instructions. Physical retrieval can be coordinated with a third party when needed.
One authorized departure handled through a documented process, with exceptions recorded in writing.
Listed systems reviewed; approved accounts disabled or removed with written authorization.
File and email ownership, backups where supported, and license recovery steps documented.
Return instructions or retrieval coordination notes, with remaining items documented.
Clear criteria so organizations can determine suitability before scheduling a consultation.
Recommended when
An authorized administrator is available, and the organization needs access removal, file handling, and return documentation more than enterprise logistics.
Not recommended when
ScreenDetect can coordinate third-party retrieval when useful, but does not operate warehouses or certified destruction facilities.
Remote coordination with your authorized administrators. Irreversible actions require explicit written approval.
Confirm the authorized administrator, systems included, timing, and what must be preserved versus removed.
Guide account disablement, session sign-out where supported, license steps, and authorized file or email transfer while your team enters credentials.
Document outstanding devices, return instructions or retrieval coordination, and remaining items.
Working launch pricing. Final amounts are confirmed after the required review for that engagement.
$500per employee
One departure with time to prepare—access, ownership, licenses, and a completion report.
$800per employee
Same-day or time-sensitive departures for existing or previously assessed environments.
Limits
First-time emergency offboarding—urgent departure work for a company ScreenDetect has not previously assessed—is not currently offered.
Additions
Yes. The Initial Consultation is a no-cost conversation used to understand your situation. It is not the paid device operations assessment and does not include a fixed-price proposal.
This is a fixed-price device-operations or employee-transition project with defined deliverables—not a monthly per-user retainer, infrastructure administration, or continuous help desk.
No. Company contacts and employees enter passwords and MFA themselves. Credentials are not retained.
Payment is requested after the included work for that engagement is confirmed. Requests and the Initial Consultation have no cost.
The $800 Urgent Offboarding option is limited to existing ScreenDetect clients or companies that have completed a device operations assessment, when the environment is known and an authorized administrator is available.
Not currently. First-time emergency offboarding for companies ScreenDetect has not previously assessed is not offered at launch.
Often still workable if an administrator can reach the relevant systems. The Initial Consultation confirms what can be disabled, transferred, or documented as an exception.
We do not operate a warehouse or courier fleet. We can prepare return instructions and coordinate a third-party retrieval service when that is part of the agreed plan. Third-party return shipping is billed at the provider’s current rate; ScreenDetect charges a separate $75 coordination fee when return coordination is requested.
Employee IT Offboarding handles the device, account, file, license, and access steps associated with one employee departure. It does not include HR administration, legal offboarding, incident response, or managed security services. Legal, HR, and employment decisions remain with the company.
No. Employee IT Offboarding provides remote device, account, and handoff coordination for one departure—not enterprise logistics infrastructure, warehousing, or certified destruction.
Share company devices, systems, and the transition you need help with. Do not include passwords.
