Pixel 11 Pro Fold screen snapshot
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold has two OLED displays: a 6.5-inch cover screen and an 8-inch folding inner screen. Both run Smooth Display from 1–120 Hz, so you get a conventional outer phone display when closed and a larger near-square surface when opened.
The cover screen is 1080 × 2342 at 399 ppi (19.5:9) with ultra-durable glass ceramic cover glass. The inner display is 2076 × 2152 at 372 ppi with Ultra Thin Glass. Google brands the cover as a Super Actua display and the inner panel as a Super Actua Flex display.
Both displays support HDR and full 24-bit color (16 million colors). Google rates each at up to 2,000 nits HDR and 3,600 nits peak. Tom’s Guide measured 2,982 nits on the inner display; that lab result is below Google’s peak figure and is not a like-for-like comparison with the manufacturer rating. Cover contrast is listed above 2,000,000:1; the inner panel is listed at 1,500,000:1.

What you will notice in actual use
In daily use, the Fold is two screens: a conventional phone OLED when closed, and a much larger near-square OLED when opened. That split changes reading, media layout, and how you move between quick tasks and longer sessions more than any single brightness or refresh figure.
Cover vs inner layout
The cover screen has normal phone proportions and density for closed-device messaging, maps, and camera framing. Opening the Fold exposes a much larger, nearly square OLED that suits reading, split layouts, and larger media. Video made for a different aspect ratio may leave unused screen area on the inner panel; that is a layout tradeoff of the near-square foldable surface, not a defect by itself.
OLED pixels can switch off individually, which supports deep blacks in dark scenes on both panels.
Outdoor brightness
Google specifies up to 3,600 nits peak for each display and up to 2,000 nits for HDR content. Tom’s Guide measured 2,982 nits on the inner display. There is no comparable independent cover-display brightness result in the reviewed sources, so outdoor confidence is stronger for the inner panel than for the cover.
Treat those peak figures as peak-condition ratings rather than sustained full-screen brightness in every lighting scenario.
Motion, color, crease, and PWM
Smooth Display’s 1–120 Hz range can make compatible scrolling and motion feel smoother; not every app or video will stay at 120 Hz. Touch sampling, input lag, and response-time figures are not published for either screen.
Tom’s Guide measured 82.1% DCI-P3 coverage on the inner display in Adaptive mode and 72.2% in Natural mode. Color behavior therefore changes with the selected mode. Equivalent cover-screen color measurements are not available here.
PWM or flicker behavior is unknown for this model. If OLED flicker has bothered you before, treat comfort as an open question until you try the phone yourself. Refresh rate is not a substitute for a PWM measurement.
TechRadar found that the inner crease remains visible and can be felt when a finger passes over it. That matters for reading, drawing, or swiping across the fold. It does not by itself prove a durability problem, and a drop can still crack either screen.

Screen repair and service
Official Pixel 11 Pro Fold screen repair pricing was not established in the reviewed sources. For out-of-warranty damage, use Google’s repair or support estimate path for your region rather than transferring pricing from other Pixel models. Cover and inner panels are different assemblies, so a quote should specify which display is affected.
